Second Chance Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 organization that is funded soley by donations. It receives no government funding or tax dollars.
We rescue adoptable dogs and cats from local city shelters. All fur-kids are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped prior to being adopted. Dogs are heartworm and tick disease tested and cats are fiv/felv tested.
We always need volunteers and foster parents. If you are interested in being involved in SCAS's mission, please visit our webite for more information and a foster or volunteer application. We couldn't do what we do without people like YOU!
Since 1989, Second Chance has been working to reduce the number of dogs and cats euthanized in our area. We provide rescue, spay/neuter, veterinary care, and adoption to over 700 homeless dogs and cats every year.
