Inez S. Wolins, Chief Public Experience Officer at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum moved to OKC in November from Boston National Historical Park where she had been Chief of Interpretation and Education since 2010. Inez has held leadership positions in museums with a focus on Western art and culture -- Autry Museum of the American West, C.M. Russell Museum, and Wichita Art Museum. Inez has been affiliated with the Bowers Museum, Harn Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, and has held joint teaching appointments at Framingham State University, the University of South Florida, Pratt Institute, and Bank Street College of Education. The hallmark of her work has been building audiences and a passion for community engagement. A frequent lecturer and prolific writer, she has published dozens of journal articles about teaching and learning in museums and classroom settings.
The OKC Midtown Rotary Club was chartered in 2009 with the goal of involving younger professionals in the service, fellowship and ideals of Rotary International. We also really like art in OKC and do what we can when we can to rock it out.
